Open Letter To Kanye West

Poor Kanye?!

As one of the most talented men in rap, it pains me to see you crumble under the pressure. Years ago you hit the scene with so much talent, it was almost breathe taking. I saw you as a positive force that had the passion to speak your mind. No matter if you were speaking your mind in rhyme or in life, your words were heard, regardless of what others may have thought.
Your stand for what's right quickly turned into a stand for what's wrong with our generation. Wrapped up in this magical lifestyle, that is a blessing and a curse for so many. What is it like to be you? Only you can answer, the pain of your loss, the joy of your gains, and the actions in your behavior.
We all will leave here, but few will leave a legacy. What will yours be? Kanye, you are everything that so many black men only dream of being, and everything some white men fear.
Please don't allow your actions to put you in a place that THEY built for YOU. You are much too talented for that. I can only assume your actions are from a sincere place, that many could never understand. But, you signed up for this, the paparazzi, the fans, the hassle, the success, Kim Kardashian, baby North West, you signed up for it all.
You had to know what you were getting into. I know how annoying the flashing lights are. But, there is nothing new about any of this. The price of fame has been high for decades. Why would you think you could escape it? Some may say it's your arrogance that makes you believe you have the right to privacy. Unfortunately, you don't.
So, just count your millions and remember your blessings.
